“The Importance of Education”

Good morning,
The honorable all the judges, the honorable all of the participants, and my beloved friend.
First of all, I’d like to thank to Allah SWT for his blessings and mercies so we can attend and gather in this place in good condition.
So, I’m standing here right now in front of you all and would like to deliver my speech about the importance of education. Before we go on to the point, I have a question for everyone here. Why is education so important for your life? Most of you will say “for a better job” or “for a better future”. In fact, those answers are true.
As we know, education is essential for every person as it can lead everyone to a better future. Education is also a basic human right and significant in the development of children, communities, and countries. However, we may still face the biggest problem concerning that education can not be obtained by everyone due to any factors.
Education plays an important role in our life and it can providing us with knowledge. With education, we can understand something that we never knew before and apply it in our real life to make it easier. Education is not about how we come to the class every morning, sit down, and just listen to the teacher, but how we apply the whole knowledge we got to our real life, work life, and also social life.
Education can transform us into a better person and critical mind in dealing with something that seems hard to break. Besides that, it helps someone to build good manners, characters and behave. In short, good education teaches us how to be a civilized human.
There is an old quote that says “Education is the ticket to the future. Tomorrow belongs to those who have prepared themselves since today”. There is nothing that can guarantee a bright future than education. As the quote says that tomorrow will belong for those who already fight for today and prepare themselves with knowledge. What about for a better career? We need to mapping out a strategy and setting goals to reach success in our career. As we know, our global world nowadays demands high education and the top quality of work. It may sound so hard, but that's the truth.
Some say that the future of our country is in the hands of the children in this country. Education is important for national progress, this means that we as citizens have to equip ourselves with proper education. We have to realize that we are the assets of our country. Therefore, we need to make sure that the future of our country is safe in the hands of an educated society.
In conclusion, getting a good education is the best way to improve our skill, true potential and talent, so we can contribute ourselves to national progress. Thank you for lending me your attention and don’t forget that education is important for life and country.
