Two weeks ago, my older sister and I had a chance to visit Solo. As siblings who loved food, we agreed to do a culinary tour and explore traditional dishes in Solo. 

First, we went to Veteran street in Serengan to enjoy the legendary food in Solo, selat Solo Mbak Lies. Then, we moved to Banjarsari and had goat satay in Sate Kambing Mbok Galak. 

During lunch time, we visited Pasar Klewer to eat delicious tengkleng by Bu Pon. In the dusk, we had some serabi Notosuman which was sweet, soft, and melted in the mouth.  

At the end of the day, we ended our culinary tour by trying the tasty and legendary nasi liwet Yu Sani for dinner. After experiencing the taste of local menus, we went back to the hotel with full belly. All the traditional dishes that we tried were never disappointing.
